What this setup does
The dehumidifier and air movers do different jobs. Run together, they dry a wet area more evenly than either machine alone.
The 55L industrial dehumidifier pulls moisture out of the air at high capacity, dropping the room’s relative humidity so wet surfaces can release water faster. The two 2700 CFM 3-speed air movers push high-volume airflow across carpet, walls and underlay so trapped moisture comes back to the surface, where the dehumidifier can extract it.
Two air movers — rather than one — give you wider surface coverage. That matters when the wet area is bigger than a single mat, when carpet has been extracted but is still saturated, or when a room is too large for a single fan to cycle the air.

Typical drying window
5–7 days for two rooms or wet-room drying after water has been removed, at normal room temperature with the kit running continuously.
Heavier saturation, cooler rooms, freshly plastered walls or insurance-related jobs may need longer. We do not guarantee a drying time — drying depends on saturation level, room size, temperature, airflow and what was wet. If a job is moving slower than expected, call us and we will help.

How the package rate works
The package uses a tiered rate. The 1–5 day price is a fixed package rate that covers any hire from one to five days. From day six, the package moves to a lower daily long-hire rate that runs for the full hire — it is not added on top of the 5-day rate. Kerbside deliveryStandard delivery is kerbside. If you need help carrying the kit indoors, mention it when you book.
Stairs and accessEach unit is light enough to carry, but tight stairs or lift access should be confirmed before delivery.

Common questions
Is this enough for soaked carpet?
For soaked carpet that has already been extracted (most water removed), yes — the 55L dehumidifier and two air movers are sized for this. The air movers need to push air across the full carpet surface, so position them at low angles into the wet area. If the carpet is still saturated and water has not been extracted, hire a wet/dry vac first or call us to arrange one.
Do I really need two air movers?
For a contained one-room job, one air mover plus a dehumidifier is usually enough — that is the Best Value Drying Package. Two air movers come into their own when the wet area is bigger than a single fan can cycle, or when you have two rooms drying at once. Wider surface coverage means moisture comes out of carpet and underlay faster.
What if there is standing water?
Remove standing water first. Drying packages run dehumidification and airflow — they do not extract pooled water. If you have water on the floor, hire a wet/dry vac or speak to us about the flood drying equipment range. Trying to dry a room with standing water in it will not work and may damage flooring further.
How long should I hire it for?
Most two-room or wet-room jobs run 5 to 7 days at normal temperature with the kit running continuously. The 1–5 day package rate covers up to five days. From day six the package moves to the lower long-hire rate. If you are not sure how long you need, book the 5-day rate first — you can extend through the cart.
What happens after 5 days?
From day six onwards the package switches to the lower daily long-hire rate (£23.99/day + VAT). This rate replaces the 1–5 day fixed rate for the whole hire — it is not added on top. Pick your dates in the date picker above and the cart will show the correct total.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. The £200 deposit is refunded after the kit is collected and inspected, subject to return condition. ID and proof of address are required before delivery so the deposit can be processed.
Do you deliver across London?
Yes. We deliver across London from our Greenford UB6 depot. Same-day delivery is usually available if you order before our daily cut-off, subject to stock and route. Delivery is charged separately by zone — your postcode is checked at the cart.
