Heater Hire London
Electric Fan Heaters · 110V Site Heaters · Industrial · Oil-Filled · Infrared Radiant
Oil-filled radiators and smaller electric heaters for occupied rooms, offices and domestic spaces.
3 kW 110V fan heaters and 9–15 kW electric heaters for cold construction and fit-out zones.
40 kW industrial electric fan heaters for warehouses, workshops and larger commercial spaces.
Infrared radiant heaters for directional warmth, plus heater + dehumidifier setups for drying jobs.
Cold construction sites, fit-outs in winter, unheated warehouses, draughty workshops, occupied offices that need a temporary boost, decorating and refurbishment projects with damp or chilly conditions — Hireload’s heater hire range covers electric fan heaters (240V, 110V site supply and 3-phase), oil-filled radiators, infrared radiant heaters and industrial electric heaters from 3 kW up to 40 kW output. All options are electric, helping avoid fuel storage, combustion fumes and fuel logistics.
London delivery is available by booking, with collection available from our Greenford UB6 depot. If you’re not sure which heater output — or which supply your site has — call 📞 020 3375 4048 and we’ll match the kit to the job.
Pick the closest scenario — we’ve matched it to the right starting kit.
For offices, occupied work areas, light commercial and domestic spaces.
For cold work zones during construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects.
For warehouses, large workshops and high-bay industrial spaces.
For warming people, work areas or surfaces — not the whole room.
For controlled warmth during decorating, plaster drying support and refurbishment in cold weather.
A starting point by space type — confirm site power and product specification before booking.
Six options across the range. Always check the product specification and confirm site power before booking.
110V site supply: some site heaters may require a 110V site supply such as a 32A commando connection. Always check the product specification before booking. If you’re not sure which supply you have on site, call 020 3375 4048 with the location and we’ll help you confirm before booking.
Three different jobs. The right setup often uses more than one piece of kit.
Raises air temperature. Used for cold rooms, cold sites and cold workshops. Doesn’t remove moisture.
Removes moisture from the air. Used for damp rooms, leaks, plaster drying and water-damaged spaces.
Increases airflow across surfaces. Used for drying carpets, floors, walls and skirting after leaks or cleaning.
Six factors that change the quote — none of which need a relative-cost guess.
Higher-output industrial heaters cost more to hire than smaller portable units or oil-filled radiators.
Longer hire periods change the daily and weekly rate. Confirm how many days you need.
Delivery zone, access and out-of-zone requests can change the total. Greenford UB6 collection is also available by booking.
110V site units, 3-phase units and higher-amperage units often need different cabling and accessories on site.
Larger spaces are often heated more effectively with two or more units rather than a single very large heater.
Adding dehumidifiers, air movers or building dryers for drying jobs changes the overall setup and quote.
A short checklist that helps us match the right unit on the first call.
Six situations we see most often.
3 kW 110V fan heaters and 9 kW or 15 kW electric heaters for cold work zones during winter builds and fit-outs.
Controlled warmth for decorators, plasterers and refurbishment teams working in cold buildings.
40 kW industrial electric heaters or zoned units for larger commercial spaces.
Oil-filled radiators or smaller electric heaters for temporary boost during heating outages or seasonal cold spells.
Infrared radiant heaters for working-zone warmth in workshops, mechanics’ bays and partially open areas.
Controlled warmth alongside a dehumidifier when conditions are cold — never aggressive direct heat on fresh finishes.
Practical reasons — no empty hype.
3 kW to 40 kW. No fumes, no fuel storage, no fuel logistics on site.
Heaters across all common UK supplies — including 110V 32A commando for sites.

Quick answers to the questions we get most often.
The output (kW) is how much heat the unit produces. As a rough guide, a 3 kW 110V fan heater suits cold construction sites and site cabins running on 110V site supply. A 9 kW electric heater suits cold work zones in mid-size spaces. A 15 kW unit produces more heat for larger or colder spaces. A 40 kW industrial electric heater suits warehouses and larger commercial spaces. The right choice depends on space size, ceiling height, insulation and the available power supply — call us with the details and we’ll match the output.
It depends on the heater. Construction sites in the UK commonly run on 110V site supply via a 32A commando connection — that’s the supply for our 3 kW 110V fan heaters. Higher-output electric heaters (typically 9 kW and above) often require 3-phase (400 / 415V) supply or a higher-amperage single-phase supply, depending on the model. Smaller plug-in electric heaters and oil-filled radiators run on a standard 240V 13A socket. If you’re not sure which supply you have, call 020 3375 4048 and we’ll help you check before booking.
Yes — all of Hireload’s heater hire range is electric. That means no combustion fumes, no fuel storage on site and no fuel logistics. The range covers electric fan heaters, oil-filled radiators, infrared radiant heaters and industrial electric heaters from 3 kW up to 40 kW output.
Warehouses, large workshops and larger commercial spaces typically use a 40 kW industrial electric heater on a 3-phase (400 / 415V) supply. Depending on the layout, more than one heater is sometimes used to zone the space rather than a single very large unit. Confirm the available power supply, the space size and access before booking.
For UK construction sites running on 110V site supply, the standard option is a 3 kW 110V fan heater connecting via a 32A commando connection. It’s designed for cold work zones, site cabins and refurb projects. Always check the product specification before booking, and confirm the 32A commando connection is available on site.
Infrared radiant heaters direct heat at people, surfaces and work areas rather than warming the whole volume of air. They’re useful for spot heating, working-zone warmth in workshops, partially open spaces and high-bay environments where heating the whole space would be wasteful. Confirm clearance from materials and from people, and check the product specification for power supply requirements.
Oil-filled radiators are quiet and steady, which makes them well suited to occupied office and domestic rooms where a noisy fan heater would be intrusive. They warm up more slowly than fan heaters but hold heat well once running. They run on a standard 240V 13A socket where applicable — check the product specification for wattage.
A heater can support drying when the space is cold, by raising air temperature so the air can carry more moisture. A heater alone does not remove water from the room — for that you need a dehumidifier. For decorating, refurbishment and plaster drying, the right setup is usually controlled warmth plus a dehumidifier, with airflow added if needed. Avoid aggressive direct heat on fresh plaster or sensitive finishes.
For a damp or water-damaged room, the lead unit is usually a dehumidifier — it removes moisture from the air. A heater is added if the space is also cold, because warmer air holds more moisture and helps the dehumidifier work. For cold but dry sites, the heater is the lead unit on its own.
