Why West London teams hire from Hireload

One depot in West London. One fleet. One hire desk that knows the kit.

Hireload runs a single operational depot in Greenford (UB6) — not a nationwide call-centre. When you book, your equipment comes out of that depot on a route our own drivers run every day, past Acton, Hanwell, Hammersmith, Chiswick and Richmond. That is the reason same- and next-day delivery works in West London.

1

Genuine local depot

Our only depot is Sabichi House, UB6 7JD — not a phone number re-directed to a third-party store. When you call, you speak to the yard.

2

Delivered, not dumped

Standard delivery is kerbside with up to 15 minutes on site. Two-person carry-in is available by prior quote — no surprises.

3

Inspected between every hire

Every item returns to the yard, gets checked, repaired if needed, and goes back out clean. Safety is an operational process, not a slogan.

4

Upfront pricing

Day-based pricing with long-hire discounts. Refundable deposits clearly stated. No hidden delivery surcharges inside our West London zone.

5

Live tracking on every order

SMS + email updates as the driver approaches. A phone call roughly 30 minutes before arrival so somebody can be on site to receive the kit.

6

One-call extensions

If a job overruns, call us before collection. We extend the hire in place — no re-delivery fee, no re-booking, no minimum extension beyond one day.

How our routes work

Delivery corridors from our Greenford depot

Because every vehicle starts from UB6, most West London jobs sit along four natural corridors we run daily. If you’re on one of these routes, same-day delivery is usually possible when booked before midday.

A40 / Western Avenue corridor

Greenford → Perivale → Park Royal → Acton → White City → Shepherd’s Bush → Central. The spine of our delivery operation.

A4020 / Uxbridge Road corridor

Greenford → Hanwell → Ealing Broadway → Acton → Shepherd’s Bush. Busy route, tight AM/PM windows.

A312 / M4 corridor

Greenford → Yeading → Hayes → West Drayton → Heathrow. The route for Hillingdon, Hounslow and airport-area jobs.

North Circular corridor

Greenford → Hanger Lane → Wembley → Willesden → Brent Cross. The route for Brent, Harrow and the N–W corner.

Borough-by-borough

What we hear most from each West London borough

Same depot, same fleet — but every borough has its own mix of jobs. Here’s what’s most commonly hired in each area, based on our actual booking data across 2024–2026.

Ealing

W5 · W7 · W13 · UB1–6

Period stock in Ealing Broadway, West Ealing and Hanwell drives steady demand for leak-response drying. Extension ladders and scaffold towers are common for Victorian sash window and facade work. Southall and Northolt sit on higher-volume commercial drying.

Top hires: 55L LGR, scaffold tower, breaker

Hammersmith & Fulham

W6 · W12 · W14 · SW6

Dense residential and office stock with tight kerbside access. Folding scaffold towers, compact dehumidifiers and pressure washers are the standard mix. Check access ahead of booking — many streets have permit-only kerb space.

Top hires: folding tower, 43L Cube, pressure washer

Hounslow

W4 · TW3–8 · TW13–14

Chiswick and Brentford regularly book dehumidifier + air mover combinations for flat refurbishments. Feltham and Heston see site tools — mixers, compactors, generators — for driveway and small commercial works near Heathrow.

Top hires: dehumidifier + air mover, plate compactor, generator

Richmond upon Thames

TW1 · TW2 · TW9–12 · SW14

River-proximity stock and older homes push flood-response drying volumes during wet months. Richmond, Twickenham and Teddington commonly pair industrial dehumidifiers with 110V site power for unheated extension works.

Top hires: 95L LGR, 3kW heater, site transformer

Hillingdon

UB3 · UB4 · UB7–11 · HA4/6

The airport economy drives commercial hires around Hayes, West Drayton and Heathrow. Site tools, industrial lighting, material lifts and high-capacity drying sets are the standard call — often on 5+ day hire terms.

Top hires: material lift, tripod floodlight, industrial dehumidifier

Harrow

HA0–HA3 · HA5 · HA7–9

Suburban residential stock in Pinner, Stanmore and Edgware means large-scale drying for insurance-led flood work and long-hire scaffold for facade and render jobs. Kenton and South Harrow regularly book breakers for driveway breaks.

Top hires: 55L dehumidifier, scaffold tower, heavy-duty breaker

Brent

NW2 · NW6 · NW10 · HA9

High job density in Willesden, Harlesden, Wembley and Neasden — mixed residential + small commercial. Compact dehumidifiers and folding towers are the most-called items. Park Royal estates frequently book heavier site plant.

Top hires: 38L dehumidifier, folding tower, cement mixer

Kensington & Chelsea (border)

W8 · W10 · W11 · SW5

Notting Hill and Holland Park sit on the western edge of our standard A40 corridor. Expect tight access, controlled parking and permit requirements. Drone inspections and non-scaffold access solutions are requested frequently for listed buildings.

Top hires: drone inspection, folding tower, compact dehumidifier

Frequently asked

West London hire FAQs

Which West London boroughs do you deliver to?
Daily delivery from our Greenford UB6 depot covers Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow, Richmond upon Thames, Hillingdon, Harrow and Brent — plus the western edge of Kensington & Chelsea. Postcodes covered include W1–W14, NW2, NW6, NW10, TW1–TW14, UB1–UB11, HA0–HA9 and SW6 / SW14 / SW5 (western edges).
How fast can you deliver to West London?
Same-day delivery is available across West London subject to stock and routing, typically within about three hours of booking. Next-day is our most-booked option. Priority delivery is guaranteed before 11 am when booked before 11 am the day before.
Do you charge extra for ULEZ zones in West London?
No. The entire Hireload delivery fleet is ULEZ-compliant. There are no surcharges for deliveries into Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith, Fulham, Acton or any other West London ULEZ address.
Is delivery kerbside or into the building?
Standard delivery is kerbside. Our driver unloads at the nearest safe, legal stopping point at street level and allows up to 15 minutes on site. Two-person carry-in or timed windows are available on request and quoted in advance — email or call the hire desk before booking.
Can I collect from the depot instead?
Yes — free. Our depot is at Sabichi House, 5 Wadsworth Road, Greenford UB6 7JD. Collection is Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00 (Saturday 09:00–13:00) by prior booking. Bring photo ID. Check your vehicle is suitable for the equipment before you travel.
What if my job runs over and I need the kit longer?
Call or email the hire desk before your collection date and we’ll extend in place. No re-delivery fee, no re-booking, no minimum extension beyond one day. Weekly and multi-week rates apply for longer projects.
Do I need to be on site to accept delivery?
Yes. Someone over 18 must be at the delivery address to accept the equipment, sign for it, and (on first hire) present photo ID if requested. If nobody is on site at the agreed window, it may be treated as a failed delivery and a redelivery fee can apply.
Are you the best tool hire company in West London?
We won’t make that claim without proof. What we can say is what makes us different: one physical depot in West London (UB6), a single hire fleet we inspect between every hire, ULEZ-compliant own-driver delivery, day-based transparent pricing, and a hire desk that answers the phone. Read our About page and judge us on operations.
