What this setup does
The dehumidifier and air mover do different jobs. Run together they dry a wet area more evenly than either machine alone — even at entry level.
The 38L commercial dehumidifier pulls moisture out of the room air, dropping relative humidity so wet surfaces can release water faster. The 240V standard air mover pushes airflow across carpet, walls and floors so trapped moisture comes back to the surface, where the dehumidifier can extract it.
This is the lightest of the drying packages. It works well for one contained room and mild jobs. For larger rooms, plaster drying or recent leaks, step up to Best Value. For two rooms or soaked carpet, step up to Larger Wet Room.

Typical drying window
3–5 days for a contained one-room job at normal room temperature.
Drying time depends on saturation level, room size, temperature and what was wet. We do not guarantee drying times. Plaster drying typically needs a larger setup. If the job is moving slower than expected, call us and we will help size up.

How the package rate works
The package uses a tiered rate. The 1–5 day price is a fixed package rate that covers any hire from one to five days. From day six, the package moves to a lower daily long-hire rate that runs for the full hire — it is not added on top of the 5-day rate. Pick your dates in the date picker above and the cart will show the total.

Delivery, ID, deposit and access
Kerbside deliveryStandard delivery is kerbside. If you need help carrying the kit indoors, mention it when you book.
Stairs and accessEach unit is light enough to carry, but tight stairs or lift access should be confirmed before delivery.
ID verificationPhoto ID and proof of address are required before delivery. Deposit is taken at booking.
Refundable deposit£150 deposit is held against return condition. Released after collection and inspection.
Water source firstFix or isolate the leak before drying. Standing water must be extracted before this kit goes in.

Common questions
Will this dry a freshly plastered room?
Probably not — plaster drying needs an industrial dehumidifier. Step up to Best Value or Compact Pro for plaster work. Entry is sized for mild damp and condensation, not plaster.
Is this enough for a leak?
For a small leak that has been fixed and the wet area is contained to one room, yes. For larger leaks where carpet is saturated, water has spread across multiple rooms, or there is standing water, step up.
How long should I hire it for?
Most contained one-room jobs run 3 to 5 days at normal temperature with the kit running continuously. The 1–5 day package rate covers up to five days. From day six the package moves to the lower long-hire rate. If you are not sure, book the 5-day rate first — you can extend through the cart.
What happens after 5 days?
From day six onwards the package switches to the lower daily long-hire rate (£14.99/day + VAT). This rate replaces the 1–5 day fixed rate for the whole hire — it is not added on top.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. The £150 deposit is refunded after the kit is collected and inspected, subject to return condition. ID and proof of address are required before delivery so the deposit can be processed.
What is the difference between Entry and Best Value?
Entry uses a 38L commercial dehumidifier and a 240V standard air mover — the everyday domestic setup. Best Value steps up to a 55L industrial dehumidifier and a 2700 CFM 3-speed air mover — same shape, more capacity, better for larger rooms and tougher jobs.
Do you deliver across London?
Yes. We deliver across London from our Greenford UB6 depot. Same-day delivery is usually available if you order before our daily cut-off, subject to stock and route. Delivery is charged separately by zone.
